Every exhibition displayed in the Temple Judea Museum Gallery presents a coherent, carefully chosen theme, whether it be work by members of the TJM Artists’ Collaborative, Ceramics of Ancient Israel, Fabrics of Jewish Life, WWII, transformed chairs, or any of the many, many exhibitions that have filled this space over the last twenty years. However, thematic exhibitions mean that those works that don’t fit the theme – no matter how wonderful – get left out.

BUT NOT THIS TIME!

Displayed in the current show are objects chosen from our permanent collection. Some of them have been previously exhibited, but only rarely. Some have never been out of storage. Of special interest are the posters associated with the Russian Revolution, which TJM purchased in 2012 in memory of Morrie Finkel, a true friend of this museum.
